穴位埋线对痰湿质高血压前期的随机对照研究
Acupoint Thread Embedding for Prehypertension Due to Phlegm-dampness：A Randomized Controlled Trial

Abstract
Objective To observe the effect of acupoint thread embedding on the blood pressure and cardiovascular risk factors in prehypertension due to phlegm-dampness, and to evaluate the effectiveness of acupoint thread embedding. Method Seventy patients with prehypertension due to phlegm-dampness were randomized into a treatment group and a control group, 35 cases in each group. The treatment group was intervened by acupoint thread embedding, once every 10 d as a treatment course, totally for 3 courses. The control group was prescribed with Banxia Baizhu Tianma decoction, 7 d as a treatment course, with a 3-day interval between two courses, totally for 3 courses. The blood pressure, blood lipids, waist circumstance (WC) and body mass index (BMI) were observed before and after the treatment. Result The systolic blood pressure (SBP), diastolic blood pressure (DBP), blood lipids, WC, and BMI were significantly changed after treatment in the two groups (P<0.05). After treatment, there were significant differences in comparing the SBP, DBP, and WC between the two groups (P<0.05). The differences were statistically insignificant in comparing the blood lipids and BMI between the two groups (P>0.05). Conclusion Acupoint thread embedding is effective in preventing and treating prehypertension. It can effectively down-regulate the SBP, DBP, total cholesterol (TC), triglyceride (TG), and low-density lipoprotein cholesterol (LDL-C), up-regulate the high-density lipoprotein cholesterol, and reduce WC. With same treatment courses, acupoint thread embedding can produce a better effect in improving the SBP, DBP, and WC compared with Banxi Baizhu Tianma decoction.关键词
