Abstract
Objective To investigate the effect of applying the risk management measures in the high quality nursing ac-tivities on the safety of hospitalized elderly patients. Methods Totally 598 elderly inpatients aged≥60 years old in our hospital from January 2014 to December 2015 were selected as the research subjects. The prevention and control situation in elderly inpa-tients(298 cases and 300 cases) before and after implementing the risk management measures during the process of high quality nursing activities were retrospectively analyzed. Results Compared with before the implementation of risk management mea-sures,the occurrence rates of adverse events such as falling down,falling bed,choke,pressure sores,phlebitis,piping slippage and deep vein thrombosis after implementing the risk management measures were significantly decreased compared with before imple-mentation,the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05);the patient satisfaction after the implementation of risk management measures was 99.33%(298/300),which was significantly higher than 95.30%(284/298) before implementation,the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05). Conclusion Implementing the risk management measures during the process of the high quality nursing activities is conducive to reduce the risk of adverse events occurrence during the period of elderly patients hospitalization and improves the patient satisfaction on nursing quality.关键词
