Methods Selecting CHI patients hospitalized in our department from Sep. 2014 to Dec. 2015 and treated with octreotide, to measure blood glucose regularly, ensure patency of venous access, manage their diet, and observe their response to octreotide and take appropriate care measures. Results 8/10 cases (80%)were effective and had a good glycemic control, the other two patients had no improved glucose and switch to other forms of treatment. Conclusion Nurses should fully understand the characteristics of CHI, indications and side effects of drug octreotide, so that we could provide children with timely and accurate and efficient care, help children have a better glycemic control.关键词
