Modeling and Performance Analysis on CuInGaSe Photovoltaic/Thermal Tube-sheet Collector

Abstract
In this paper, a mathematical model of the CuInGaSe (CIGS) photovoltaic/thermal tube-sheet collector is established. The heat loss coefficient UL is defined based on the average temperature of the heat absorption sheet, and the corresponding heat absorption formula is given. The performance of photovoltaic/thermal collector is evaluated by the primary-energy saving efficiency, and the performance of CIGS photovoltaic tube-sheet collector cooled by refrigerant is simulated. The results show that reducing the tube spacing, reducing the inner diameter of the evaporation tube and increasing the length of the evaporation tube are all beneficial to improve the thermal, electrical and primary-energy saving efficiency of the CIGS photovoltaic collector. Meanwhile, reducing the evaporation tube diameter and increasing tube length will increase pressure drop of refrigerant flowing through the collector, and other local resistance should be controlled to ensure performance in the design.关键词
