Alprostadil Combined with Danhong on the Renal Function and Serum Levels of Inflammatory Factors in Patients with Early Diabetic Nephropathy

Abstract
Objective: To investigate the effects of alprostadil combined with Danhong on the renal function and serum levels of inflammatory factors in patients with early diabetic nephropathy.Methods:Totally 80 patients with early diabetic nephropathy were selected and randomly divided into observation group and con-trol group, with 40 patients in each group. Both groups were given conventional therapies, and the control group used Danhong injection ( TCM) additionally, while the observation group used alprostadil injection in addition to those of the control group. The levels of blood urea nitrogen ( BUN) , blood creatinine ( SCr) ,β2 microglobulin (β2-MG), 24h quantitative test for urinary protein (24h Upro), urinary albumin excretory rate ( UAER) , and serum interleukin-6 ( IL-6) , interleukin-18 ( IL-18) , tumor necrosis factor -α( TNF-α) , and hypersensitive C reactive protein ( hs-CRP ) before and after treatment were compared between the two groups. Results:Before treatment, the two groups had insignificantly different levels of BUN, SCr, 24h Upro,β2-MG, UAER and serum IL-6,IL-18,TNF-α,and hs-CRP ( P>0.05); after treatment, both groups had significantly decreased levels of BUN, SCr, 24 h Upro,β2-MG, UAER and serum IL-6, IL-18, TNF-α, and hs-CRP , but the observation group had significantly greater decreasing extents than the control group ( P<0.05) . Conclusion:Alprostadil combined with Danhong can effectively improve the renal function and de-crease the levels of inflammatory factors in patients with early diabetic nephropathy, and is highly effective and safe.关键词
