摘要

Abstract

Microstructure and particle size of the samples of coal-fired power plant with poor fluidity of fly ash were analyzed with microscope and particle size analyzer. Compared to fly ash with qualified performance, more non-spherical particles were observed in the samples with poor fluidity and median diameter ( about 96. 0μm ) was larger. According to the formation mechanism of fly ash in boiler furnaces, insufficient melting of composition in the coal was main reason leading to poor fluidity of fly ash. Improving the fineness of coal with optimizing operation mode of air disposal system could be conducive to the formation of vitreous in boiler furnaces.
