Advances in Application Research of Polygonum Multiflorum
摘要
Abstract
Objective To study the advances of Polygonum multiflorum effects on different diseases. Methods Related literatures in recent years were reviewed and the research on the chemical composition, content, pharmacological and toxicological effects, clinical application and adverse reactions of Polygonum multiflorum were summarized. Results Polygonum multiflorum mainly contained three effective compone-nts: anthraquinones, stilbene glycosides and phospholipids, which could reduce blood lipid, resist lipid peroxidation, enhance immunity, protect liver, heart, and nerve system, regulate neuroendocrine, enhance hematopoietic function, resist bacteria and other pharmacological effects. The main adverse reactions were liver damage and gastrointestinal irritation. The material basis and mechanism of action were needed to be further studied. Conclusion Polygonum multiflorum had a variety of pharmacological effects and wide clinical application, while it could present adverse reactions.关键词
