Abstract
The year 2015 has witnessed a blooming trend in the field of cultural studies in China, with fruitful and diverse research achievements achieved. On the one hand, we see continuity and advancement in efforts to push previous research initiatives along pre-determined theoretical courses, with renewed progress being made in aspects of theoretical explanation, discipline construction, countermeasures exploration, reflection, et cetera. On the other hand, we see the broadening of research fields, with new research areas and hotspots springing up. The discussion on cultural theory and the focus on hot topics have become an important achievement of relevant research initiatives in 2015. On the whole, cultural studies in the year 2015 are characterized by such thematic orientations, namely, continuation and promotion, review and reflection, as well as expectation and trail blazing. To put it more specific-ally, research priority is shifted from general coverage of research problems to focused attention placed on hotspot issues, as well as from reflections on research plights to explorations of countermeasures.关键词
