Abstract
Eliminating poverty is a common task faced by human society. Since the 18th National Congress of the Communist Party of China ( CPC) , targeted poverty-alleviation has been promoted as a national strategy, and edu-cational poverty-alleviation was endowed with an important mission, that is, to block the intergenerational transmis-sion of poverty. Against the backdrop of urban-rural integration, China’ s rural education is still lagging behind. In the field of education in our country, targeted poverty-alleviation in rural education is of the uppermost priority. Based on an in-depth analysis of the rural education status of our country, this paper points out the strategic signifi-cance of targeted poverty-alleviation in rural education from political, economic, cultural and social perspectives, and then emphatically discusses the establishment of a comprehensive targeted poverty-alleviation system in rural education.关键词
