摘要

Abstract

According to Guidelines for Fatigue Strength of Ship Structure of CCS,the calculation process based on simplified algorithm of LNG fuel tank was presented in this dissertation. The formula of S-N curve equation which introduced the survival index was derived. Eight load levels were given based on 97. 6% survival rate ( not less than 108 wave encounters) ,20 stress hot spots were selected. The fatigue cu-mulative damage of the fuel tank was computed by considering a variety sailing conditions and filling con-ditions. The fatigue cumulative damage of the saddle of fuel tank was 0. 2734 when the fuel tank is placed horizontally on ship,and the fatigue cumulative damage of the saddle was 0. 5825 when the fuel tank is placed lengthwise on ship. It would reduce the probability of fatigue failure of the fuel tank when the fuel tank is placed horizontally on ship.
