果皮对不同甜荞和苦荞品种种子萌发特性的影响
EFFECT OF PERICARP ON GERMINATION CHARACTERISTICS OF DIFFERENT VARIETIES OFFAGOPYRUMESCULENTUMAND F. TATARICUM

Abstract
Fagopyrum esculentum andF. tataricum are two main cultivated species of buckwheat. In order to investigate the effect of pericarp on the germination of buckwheat, basic biological characteristics of different varieties of buckwheat were measured by traditional biological measuring methods, and the germination characteristics of the different varieties of buckwheat with pericarp and without pericarp were compared. The results showed that the seed size, thousand-seed weight and germination ofF. esculentum were higher than those ofF. tataricum; the final seed germination rates of different varieties ofF. esculentum (besides Chitian 1) andF. tataricum with pericarp were significantly higher than those of the varieties without pericarp (P< 0.05), and the former had higher daily germination peak, but the germination trends of different varieties were different. So, it could be concluded that the existence of the pericarp was helpful for the germination of the buckwheat, which could be used in the actual production.关键词
