Abstract
The hull temperature field is the core issue in the design of Liquefied Natural Gas(LNG)carrier.In the iteration process,large amount of data and large number of iterations lead to long computation time,unexpected MSC.Patran quit.In view of these,an efficient iterative calculation optimization method of temperature field is proposed.This method uses Patran Command Language(PCL)of MSC.Patran to obtain the load data and generate external files,and realizes the Bulk Data File(BDF)automatic generation algorithm by using the C++ Standard Template Library(STL)programming to reduce iterative calculation time.The temperature filed calculation experiment is carried out on a prismatic LNG carrier with the capacity of 220 000 m3.Results show that the new method ensures correctness and improves the efficiency of iterative calculation.关键词
