A DYNAMIC SELF-ADJUSTING LOAD BALANCING ALGORITHM FOR SDN CONTROLLERS

Abstract
A dynamic self-adjusting load balancing method based on switch migration mechanism is proposed to solve the problem that the static configuration between switch and controller can cause the load imbalance among distributed controllers,considering of the controller real-time load and the processing capacity of its own.The algorithm can automatically select the under-load controllers according to the load of the whole system,which ensured the controller of high performance is allocated to more load.By this way,the load imbalance problem among multiple controllers is solved.The experimental results show that the method can effectively improve the average throughput and reduce the average response time of the controller,achieving better load balancing effect.关键词
