Abstract
Objective To investigate the changes of the white matter fiber tracts between dementia with Lewy body(DLB) and Parkinson's disease(PD).Methods DTI scans were performed on 10 patients with DLB(DLB group), 16 patients with PD(PD group) and 16 normal controls(normal control group).A whole brain automated analysis of DTI data was performed by tract-based spatial statistics ( TBSS ) to compare differences in fractional anisotropy (FA) and mean diffusivity (MD) between three groups.And the correlations between FA、MD and clinical data were analyzed .Results Compared with normal control group , FA value、MD value were significantly changed in left inferior longitudidal falciculus , left inferior fronto-occipital falciculus and bilateral superior longitudidal falciculus in DLB group (P =0.002,P =0.012;P =0.013,P =0.015), while MD value were significantly changed only in corpus callosum in PD group ( P=0.036).Compared with PD group, FA value、MD value were significantly changed in DLB group in left inferior longitudidal falciculus and left inferior fronto -occipital falciculus(P=0.04;P=0.005).In DLB group, FA value was negatively correlated with disease duration (r=-0.708,P<0.05)and positively correlated with MMSE(r=0.023,P<0.05)in left inferior longitudidal falciculus and left inferior fronto-occipital falciculus , while MD values was positively correlated with the unified Parkinson's disease rating scale Ⅲin left superior longitudidal falciculus (r=0.682,P<0.05).Conclusion DLB patients are showed significant white matter fiber tracts changes , especially in left inferior longitudidal falciculus and left inferior fronto-occipital falciculus , which may be as important imaging references for early diagnosis of DLB .关键词
