Abstract
Objective To explore the proportion of cerebrospinal fluid cell of meningitis infected from mumps virus children.Methods Classification of cytology examination was conducted in the CSF of 17 children with meningitis infected from mumps virus by glass centrifugation and Wright -Giemsa.Meanwhile, the B lymphocytes labeled by CD20 and plasma cells labeled by CD38 were observed by immunohistochemical methods .Results In the early stage of virus meningitis , obvious changes of B lymphocytes and plasma cells were observed in 17 cases, while in the middle or advanced virus meningitis , the proportion of B lymphocytes and plasma cells turned normal . Conclusion Cytologic examination in CSF may be a valuable method to diagnose and monitor meningitis infected from mumps virus timely and accurately .关键词
