Abstract
In the process of mulching for Phyllostachys violascens ( Carr. ) A. et C. Riv. cultivation, the covering and collecting of rice chaff are the key steps, which requires 41. 3% cost of human resources during the whole cultivation. The successful trial of rice chaff relocating machine is an important step towards the mechanization of mulching for Ph. violascens ( Carr. ) A. et C. Riv. cultivation. The results showed that one machine could be operated by 2 workers for covering and collecting rice chaff from 667 m2 land, which could save the work of 9 labors, and moreover, only 3 h is required for the covering of rice chaff on the field and 5 h for the rice chaff collection and relocation, which greatly shortened the operation time and increased the effectiveness. However, the improvement and promotion of the machine also encountered some problems. Therefore, the paper came up with some practical and feasible suggestions.关键词
