Abstract
ObjectiveTo investigate whether IL28B polymorphisms could affect the response of 24weeks treatment of Peginterferon alpha(PegIFNα) in chronic hepatitis B HBeAg-positive patients. MethodsA total of 398 hepatitis HBeAg-positive patients with 24week treatment of PegIFNα were enrolled in the study.Genotype analysis was performed for IL28B rs12980275,rs12979860 and rs8099917 using the direct sequencing method. Response was defined as cases showing normal aminotransferase(ALT) levels,HBV DNA level<500IU/mL and HBeAg seroconversion.Results The patients were infected with hepatitis B virus(HBV) genotype B(52.01%) and C(47.99%) With a total response rate of 42.6%.For the three SNPs,there were not significant differences between the response(R) and non- response(NR) groups in genotype distribution(P>0.05). IL28B genotype at rs12980275 with R for AA versus N-AA(OR 0.916,95%CI 0.460-1.825, P=0.804), rs12979860 CC versus N-CC(OR 0.921,95%CI 0.442-1.921,P=0.826) and rs8099917 TT versus N-TT(OR 0.921,95%CI 0.442-1.921,P=0.826).Conclusion Polymorphisms in IL28B were not significant differences of response with 24weeks treatment of PegIFNα in HBeAg-positive CHB patients .关键词
