降钙素原在儿童下呼吸道感染治疗中的应用研究

Abstract
Objective To analyze and explore the clinical value of serum procalcitonin in treatment of lower respiratory tract infection in children.Methods 100 cases of children with lower respiratory tract infection cured in the department from October 2013 to October 2015 were selected as the study objencts. And they were divided into two groups randomly. The reference group had 50 cases, they were treated with outine antibiotic regimens for treatment, and the observation group had 50 cases, they were treated with serum procalcitonin first, and then antibiotic treatment according to test results. After the treatment, the clinical effect of the two groups were accessed,compared and analyzed. The symptoms and signs disappeared time, antibiotics time, antibiotics costs and hospitalization days of the two groups were detailly recorded after the treatment.Results Compared with the reference group, the clinical efficiency of the observation group was significantly higher. Antibiotics time, days of hospitalization were significantly shorter. Antibiotics costs was significantly less (P<0.05). After the treatment, fever disappearance time and cough disappearance time of the two groups had no significantly different (P>0.05).Conclusion Serum procalcitonin guidance of medication can improve the efficacy of lower respiratory tract infection in children, and reduce antibiotic treatment and hospitalization time.
