Abstract
Objective To study the clinical value of three kinds of EB virus antibody detection in screening of nasopharyngeal carcinoma.Methods 100 cases of nasopharyngeal carcinoma diagnosed by pathological diagnosis in our hospital from September 2014 to September 2015 were selected as the research objects, 500 cases of non-nasopharyngeal carcinoma patients with nasopharyngeal symptoms and 1000 cases of healthy people in the same period were selected as control. Enzyme linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA) were used to respectively test the three groups of subjects three EB virus antibody. The positive detection rate among the three groups was compared, and the sensitivity, specificity, accuracy, negative prediction value and positive predictive value of different EB virus antibody alone or in combination with diagnosis of nasopharyngeal carcinoma(NPC) were calculated.ResultsThe comparison of VCA IgA, EA and RTA IgG detection positive rate of the three groups was patients with nasopharyngeal carcinoma>patients in control group I>Normal persons in control group II. And the detection results of patients with nasopharyngeal carcinoma group and the other two groups were statistically significant difference(P<0.05).The detection results of different EB virus were the following, the VCA-IgA and Rta-IgG of nasopharyngeal carcinoma group were significantly higher than the EA-IgA, while the EA-IgA of control group was significantly higher than the EA-IgA and Rta-IgG, the difference was significant. Three kinds of EB virus in nasopharyngeal cancer diagnosis sensitivity, specificity, accuracy, negative predicted value, and positive predictive value comparison were combined diagnosis results, and were all higher than those of each kind of Epstein Barr virus alone diagnosis results, in addition to the positive predictive value was slightly lower (but the promotion effect of combined diagnosis is the most remarkable), all of which reached more than 95%.Conclusion The serological diagnosis of three kinds of EB virus antibody is beneficial to the effective screening of nasopharyngeal carcinoma, and it has great clinical application value.关键词
