Abstract

In order to solve the noise problems of railroad vehicles, serious acoustical requirements, management and control of design in the initial stage of research and development of vehicles are necessary. By constantly balancing the relationship among users, vehicle manufacturers and component suppliers, satisfactory consequence can be obtained. Vehicle acoustics management process can be divided into four stages:tender, research and development, design and acceptance. In this article, the systematic ideas for acoustic management of vehicles and the key technical issues during the management process are proposed. The programmatic management method and implementation process of the acoustic data of noise sources and acoustic structures are provided. The noise prediction tool for railroad vehicles based on the acoustic database is established. It has the advantage of simple interactive interface, fast calculation, and comprehensive acoustic information. This work provides a good analytical tool and reference for the vehicle acoustics design.
