Abstract
To study the influence of the bubbles in the viscoelastic damper silicone oil on its damping property, two different damper structures are tested respectively. One of the structures has bubbles with certain sizes in the silicone oil capsules, and the other has no bubble basically. The two damper structures with bearing pedestals are tested on a shaking table, and the capacity of energy dissipation of the two structures at the same oscillation condition is measured and compared. Meanwhile, in order to simulate the actual working condition of the damper in helicopters, the variation of the energy dissipation capacity with the loading condition of the two structures is also obtained and compared. The results show that the bubbles in the silicone oil of the viscoelastic damper can deteriorate its damping property.关键词
