摘要

Abstract

In order to reduce the noise of refrigeration compressors in the operation process, a muffler is installed in the suction side of the refrigeration compressor. The three-dimension model of the muffler is established by Creo3.0 and the finite element mesh is constructed by CATIA. The transmission loss of the muffler without the guide duct is numerically simulated by acoustics software LMS Virtual Lab. Due to the instability of the noise elimination effect of the muffler without guide duct in the main noise frequency band, two kinds of mufflers with inner cavity of the square guide duct and the circular guide duct are designed respectively. Compared with the muffler without the guide duct, it is concluded that the guide duct can improve the acoustical performance of the muffler. Also, the shape of the guide duct can affect the acoustical performance of the muffler. The circular guide duct has better noise reduction effect than that of the square guide duct. The conclusion is validated by the compressor noise test.
