摘要

Abstract

The study area is located in the upper of the Chaobai River alluvial. Because of the coarse particle size, Quaternary aquifer is easily recharged. Groundwater intrinsic antipollution capability of this area is poor. Groundwater quality is good in general. The index COD is chosen to predict and evaluate the effects of a proposed water recycling plant operation on groundwater in the source area by building up numerical model. The plant may have certain effect on the groundwater environment both in cases of normal operation and during process failures. The forecasting COD concentrations in the groundwater source area are far below the Class III water standard in Standard for Groundwater Quality, but the inlfuence distance is long, therefore a long-term monitoring system covering the whole plant area should be build to avoid pollution.
