土木工程专业留学生结构力学课程全英文教学探讨

Abstract
Education of international students is a key index for the internationalization of a university. The im-provement of the teaching quality in English has become a new topic among the instructors in the universities. This study shed lights on the exploration of the methodology of teaching Structural Mechanics, which is an important fun-damental course in Civil Engineering, in English. The characteristics of the students and the difference between the course of Structural Mechanics provided in China and United States are firstly analyzed. The teaching strategy, teach-ing tools and teaching methods are then summarized. The study suggests that the focus should be placed on the in-ternational students in order to improve the teaching quality of the course.关键词
