Cai Yuanpei′s comprehensive reforms in Peking University
摘要
Abstract
Deepening the comprehensive reforms is one of important subj ects for current Chinese uni-versities.During the period as the president of Peking University,and surrounding the core idea and obj ective of"the university is the place where we probe into the deepest knowledge",Cai Yuanpei car-ried out a series of effective reforms on the layout of disciplines,scientific research organizations,ad-ministration and student self-government.The comprehensive reforms implemented by Cai Yuanpei in Peking University are characterized by clear idea,definite positioning,systematic design,advancing on the whole,shifting focus downward,respecting teachers and students,continuous exploration, timely adjustments,etc.,and provide important enlightenments on deepening the comprehensive re-forms and the construction of"Double World-Class"in current Chinese universities.关键词
