Influence of Channel Distance Difference on Detection Performance of Statistical MIMO Radar

Abstract
In this paper,the influence of the distance difference between the channels on the detection performance of statistical multiple input multiple output(MIMO)radar is studied.Firstly,the channel dis-tance difference factor is introduced to the signal model according to the radar equation,which is used to characterize the distance difference influence on the received signal.Then the likelihood ratio function and the distribution of test statistics are derived.Finally,the divergence of likelihood ratio test detector is used to an-alyze the influence of signal-to-noise ratio (SNR)fluctuation on detection performance,which is caused by distance difference between channels.Simulation results show that,in low channel SNR,the influence is small,but with the channel SNR raising,the influence is increasing and thus lead to a serious decline in de-tection performance.The research results have reference value for the system configuration and practical ap-plication of statistical MIMO radar.关键词
