Abstract
In this paper, a detailed analysis is made on the current situation and existing problems in Japanese forestry labor and its causes based on a historical analysis method. The main current problem in Japan is the decrease in forestry labor and its assurance. The reasons which lead to the decrease in forestry labor in Japan include the decrease in the labor quantity of forestry, severe working conditions and the decrease in the population in the mountainous areas. Based on the above research, a detailed analysis is made on the measures taken on the above-mentioned problems and its effects. Meanwhile, it is proposed that it is necessary to continue to improve the working conditions in order to guarantee the supply of forestry labor. Such measures and proposals will provide very significant lessons to China in solving similar problems.关键词
