摘要
Abstract
From Qing Dynasty to the Republic People of China, the development of timber economy in Fujian Min River watershed had experienced four steps: rising-developing-peaking-declining. How-ever, flourishing trade induced a series of environmental problems: deforestation, flood and the plun-der of living environment of wild animals and plants. Meanwhile, Terrible effects reacted back upon people themselves which threatened people’s life. Thus, examining the relationship between timber e-conomy and local environmental problems can analyze the interdependence and mutual influence be-tween people and nature in this area and during this period. Historical research need place the envi-ronmental factors into the economic evaluation system and seek the approach to living in harmony with the nature.关键词
