Abstract
Objective To observe the effects of problem-based learning (PBL)model on patients undergoing in vitro fertilization and embryo transfer (IVF-ET). Methods A total of 231 cases of patients undergoing IVF-ET were selected as the research objects. According to the beginning of IVF-ET treatment time, the research objects were divided into control group with 112 cases receiving treatment from July to October 2015 and while observation group with 119 cases from November 2015 to February 2016. Routine health education was conducted in control group while PBL health education in observation group. The knowledge of IVF-ET and the compliance of medication-taking and examination, balanced diet, regular exercise and rest in both groups were compared. Results The score of IVF-ET-related knowledge such as knowledge of infertility, controlled ovarian stimulation, oocyte retrieval operation, embryo transfer and complication prevention in observation group was higher than that in control group ( P<0.05); the score of treatment compliance of medication-taking and examination, balanced diet, regular exercise and rest in observation group was higher than that in control group (P<0.05). Conclusion PBL model is conducive to promoting the knowledge and the treatment compliance of patients undergoing IVF-ET and it is worthy of clinical application.关键词
