Serological Investigation on Chicken Immunosuppressive Diseases in Parts of Chicken Farms in Ningbo City of Zhejiang Province

Abstract
In order to know the infection status of Avian leukemia virus(ALV), Reticuloendotheliosis virus(REV) and Chicken infectious anemia virus(CIAV) in local chicken farms,an serological detection was carried out for 4 kinds of antibodies against 3 diseases in 15 chicken flocks of 7 districts and counties of Ningbo city. Results showed that among the 362 serum samples,the antibody-positive rates of the AB sub-group ALV(ALV-AB)and the J sub-group(ALV-J)were 55.0% and 21.5%,respectively,while those rates of REV and CIAV were 32.0% and 66.8%, respectively. In addition,the co-infection rate of ALV-AB and CIAV was 100.0% in all of the 15 farms,and there were 12 farms which were co-infected by 3 kinds of immunosuppressive diseases,and the mixed infection rate reached up to 80.0%.The investigation results showed the wide universality of immunosuppressive diseases in chicken flocks of Ningbo city.关键词
