Abstract
Objective: To evaluate the application of the flat bite plate or incline bite plate combined with straight arch wire technique in the treatment of Angle Class Ⅱ malocclusion with low-angle.Method:20 cases of low-angle class Ⅱ malocclusion were treated with flat bite plate or incline bite plate combined with straight arch wire technique. The changes of cephalometrics were compared between before and after the treatment.Result: On the sagittal direction, the mandible moved forward; SNB, ANB and L6-Ptm were significantly improved. On the vertical direction, MP-SN, NP-FH and L6-Ptm were significantly improved.Conclusion:Using flat bite plate or incline bite plate combined with straight arch wire technique in treating Angle Class Ⅱmalocclusion with low-angle can result in a satisfactory appearance in the lower one third of the face,correct the dental occlusion, and shorten the course of treatment.关键词
