Purification and Infrared Spectroscopic Analysis of Diatomite in Changbai Mountain Region

Abstract
Diatomite in Changbai Mountain region was treated with calcined and acid-treating to increase its purity. The crude diatomate and puridied diatomate were tested by measuring the specific surface area, we analyzed different calcination temperatures and sulfuric acid concentration on its specific surface area;The surface morphology and infrared spectrum of diatomite was characterized by scanning electron microscopy HITACHI S-3400 and infrared spectrometer FTIR-7600 so as to determine the best technology of purification, and provide technical support for diatomite comprehensive utilization in Changbai Mountain region.关键词
