基于双液晶相位延迟器调制的偏振光源
Polarization Modulation Source Based on Dual Liquid Crystal Variable Retarders
摘要
Abstract
Aiming at the problem of great system error existing in conventional polarization generator,polarization modulation tutoring experimental system based on dual liquid crystal variable retarders is presented. The setup is constituted of a linear polarizer and two liquid crystal phase variable retarders( LCVRS) . The state of polarization of the incident light is modulated through adjusting the control voltage of LCVRS by computer. Through determining six specific polarization state in the definition of stokes vector,the experimental result shows that the scheme is feasible, and the polarization degree accuracy is up to 1/1000, the setup can generate the desired polarization for system calibration and test,it can improve the accuracy of the experiments and save experimental time.关键词
