摘要

Abstract

Physical model of pre-mixed abrasive water jet nozzle was established.Based on the software of FLUENT,numerical simulation of the effects of jet parameters and abrasive parameters on wear characteristic of abrasive water jet nozzle was carried out by using particle trajectory model, Grant collision elastic recovery coefficients and E/CRC erosion model.The simulation results showed that the nozzle wall wear rate all present two peaks at different jet parameters and abrasive parameters. In other words,the nozzle wall wear rate at a short distance range before the entrance of cylindrical section of nozzle and cylindrical section of nozzle are larger compared with other places.The overall wear degree of the nozzle is characterized by the surface integral of nozzle wall wear rate.The surface integral of nozzle wall wear rate increases,namely the overall wear degree of the nozzle increases with the increase of abrasive water jet flux and abrasive volume fraction,and with the decrease of abrasive particle size.Therefore,abrasive water jet flux and abrasive volume fraction should not be too large from the point of view of reducing the wear of the nozzle.Taking account of reducing the wear of the nozzle and preventing clogging of nozzle together,abrasive particle size also should not be too large.
