Construction Project Inter-organizational Conflict Management Strategies Based on Goal’s Ambidexterity

Abstract
Based on objective duality, the paper illustrates the concept, characteristics andcategory of in-ter-organizational conflict within construction project. By analyzing the reflection of objective duality in organiza-tions with different types of projects and its influence on control objectives of construction project and in-ter-organizational conflict of different dimensions, the following conclusion is reached that objective duality can intensify task conflicts, and having a dual impact over process conflict, relation conflict and project performance. A model on conflict management based on objective duality is constructed with five types of strategies for conflict management, including cooperation, competition, compromise, avoidance and concession in order to provide meaningful reference to inter-organizational conflict management of construction project.关键词
