摘要

Abstract

Hydraulic self-swing fire water monitor has its advantages such as large coverage of fire area and feasibility of unmanned operation. Structure design on hydraulic self-swing fire water monitor is carried out based on an example of hydraulic automatic reversing device for valve control cylinder, and the influences of structure parameters on the jet characteristics are investigated using fluid dynamics software. The analysis shows that, the jet of circular channel is more stable than that of square channel; when the inlet channel is the same, better jet characteristics can be obtained under a larger inlet pressure; the outlet pressure will be larger under a larger channel diameter, but the increment will be smaller. The above results will effectively guide the design of fire monitor.
