摘要

Abstract

Innovative design on YLKK500-8TH vertical motor for LNG seawater lift pump is performed. Its mechanical efficiency optimization is implemented by electromagnetic design. Damping frame for motor is adopted for its enhancement on stiffness and improvement on stability. Enhanced end cover is adopted for reduction on motor’s vibration and improvement on its reliability. Temperature of motor is effectively reduced using feasible ventilation system. Moreover, a two-way thrust bearing is used to reduce its cost and prolong its life. Technological innovation on YLKK500-8TH motor design from electromagnetics, structure, material and bearing etc., makes its actual data higher than that of the domestic industry standards, while reaching the international advanced level, implying its potential application value in manufacturing industry.
