Effects of metformin hydrochIoride on the growth curve of Streptococcus thermophilus
摘要
Abstract
Objective To investigate the effects of metformin hydrochloride on the growth curve of Streptococcus ther-mophilus.Methods A turbidimetric method for the determination of Streptococcus thermophilus medium OD600 value was a-dopted in the MRS liquid containing metformin hydrochloride. ResuIts The optimum culture liquid concentration was 15.625 g·mL-1 . Compared with the blank control group,Streptococcus thermophilus in MRS liquid containing metformin hydrochloride medium growth curve of delay period,logarithmic phase and plateau phase of OD600 were high.ConcIusion Metformin hydrochloride can promote the growth of Streptococcus thermophilus,to provide experimental basis for further study of correlation effect of metformin hydrochloride on the growth of lactic acid bacteria and its adverse reaction.关键词
