摘要

Abstract

In response to the crack tip opening displacement (CTOD) calculation formula revision in the new edition GB/T 21143 -2014 ,study on the effect of metal material fracture toughness testing results was conducted .By making a comparative analysis of GB/T 21143-2007 ,GB/T 21143-2014 ,ISO 1235 :2002 and BS 7448:1991 ,we found that CTOD values calculated according to GB/T 21143-2014 were 20%lower than that of other standards .As a result ,when inspecting product quality according to different standards or making third‐part arbitration ,argument arises .In view of this situation ,the rotation correc‐tion methods recommended by GB/T 21143 -2014 should be popularized and accepted by other standards w hile revising .
