摘要

Abstract

Thegas insulated transmission line (GIL) can replace the dc overhead transmission line and the dc cable, which improves the flexibility of the energy transmission system. To data, the application of GIL is more and more urgent. One of the most serious troubles in HVDC GILs is the accumulation of the surface charge on cone-type spacers. Studies on the surface charge distribution in dc field is based on the accurate measurement. To improve the precision, the inversion algorithm which converts surface potential to surface charges is necessary.In recent decades, scholars have done a large number of researches on the surface potential measurement and the inversion algorithm. Several sophisticated inversion algorithms based on the electrostatic probe measurement were summarized. All these kinds of algorithms were compared using both theoretically study and case analysis. Finally, the future directions for the inversion algorithms of surface charges were discussed.
