Abstract
OBJECTIVE:To investigate the effects of regular dose and high dose administered N-acetylcysteine in treatment of silicosis .METHODS:64 patients with silicosis admitted into Anshan Iron and Steel Group Company and Institute of Occupational Health from Sept .2014 to Dec.2015 were randomly divided into observation group and control group via the random number table , with 32 cases in each .The control group were treated with regular dose of N-acetylcysteine 600 mg, once a day, and the observation group received large dose of acetylcysteine 600 mg, three times a day .After 3 months of treatment , 6 min walking distance and lung function of two groups were observed . RESULTS:After treatment, 6 min walking distance of observation group was significantly higher than that of control group, with statistically significant difference (P <0.05).The forced vital capacity (FVC), 1 second forced expiratory volume ( FEV1 ) in observation group were significantly higher than those in the control group , the difference was statistically significant (P <0.05).There was no obvious adverse drug reactions in two groups .CONCLUSIONS:On the basis of conventional therapy , high dose therapy administered N-acetylcysteine silicosis can effectively improve patients’ lung function, increase the exercise tolerance in patients .关键词
