峰度在评估复杂噪声所引起听力损失中的应用
The application of the kurtosis metric in evaluating hearing trauma from complex noise exposures

Abstract
A number of animal experiments and epidemiologic studies in humans have demonstrated that current in-ternational standards for noise exposure may underestimate hearing trauma by complex noise. While energy is a necessary metric, it is not sufficient to evaluate hearing hazards from complex noise exposure. The characteristic of complex noise is also an important factor in evaluating complex noise-induced hearing loss (NIHL). In this paper, the studies on using kurto-sis as a metric for complex NIHL evaluation in both animal and human models are introduced. The further research direc-tion and application prospect of kurtosis are discussed.关键词
