Abstract
Precipitation data from 6 stations of Xuyi, Jinhu, Huaian, Hongze, Huaiyin, Lianshui were used to analyze the variation character-istics of precipitation in Huaian during the period from 1994 to 2014.The results showed that the precipitation in the south of Huaian was more than that in the north of Huaian.The main precipitation was concentrated from Jun.to Aug.; the annual precipitation of Huaian City had a significant upward trend since 1996, according to Mann-Kendall mutation test.The main rainstorm process occurred from Jun.to Aug., ac-counting for 84.4% of the total number of heavy rain process; rainstorm precipitation in southern area was higher than that in the north, but the daily precipitation in the north was more than that in the south.关键词
