血清同型半胱氨酸水平与缺血性脑血管病患者颈动脉粥样硬化的相关性研究
Correlation between of serum homocysteine level and carotid atherosclero-sis in patients with ischemic cerebrovascular disease

Abstract
Objective:To access the correlation between the level of serum homocysteine (Hcy)and carotid atherosclerosis (CAS)in patients with ischemic cerebrovascular disease (ICVD).Methods:A total of 80 cases with ICVD diagnosed in the Depart-ment of Cardiology of our hospital from April 2013 to April 2014 were enrolled.According to the severity of CAS,they were divided into three groups:carotid artery normal group (group A),carotid intima-media thickening (group B)and carotid atherosclerosis group (group C).The Hcy levels of the three groups were compared.Spearman’s rank correlation was also conducted to assess the correla-tion between the Hcy level and CAS.Results:The Hcy levels in group B and C were significantly higher than that of group A (P <0.05).The Hcy level in group C were also higher than that of group B (P<0.05).Positive correlation between serum Hcy level and carotid intima-media thickness was found (r=0.751,P<0.05).Conclusion:The serum Hcy level was closely associated with CAS in ICVD patients.The detection of Hcy has important clinical value in evaluating the severity of CAS in ICVD patients.关键词
