Influences of Confucianism on the Creation of Commandments for Women by Ban Zhao
摘要
Abstract
In Han Dynasty, Confucianism, adapting to the needs of the rulers, is gradually combined with autocratic imperial power to form a situation of “getting rid of all the others and just honoring Confucianism”. Confucianism became the dominant ideology. Com-mandments for Women as the first monograph with Confucianism to illustrate women′s morality in the history of our country has achieved a great success. By the long-term influences of Confucianism, Ban Zhao created Commandments for Women. This paper tries to analyze the influences of Confucianism on the writer′s creation of Commandments for Women from the economic base, political environment, writer′s special family background and her rich life experiences.关键词
