We-Map: A New Type of Map in the Era of We Media
摘要
Abstract
To compensate for the disadvantages of traditional maps such as high standard requirements to cartogra-phers and low efficiency in map information propagation, a concept called we-map is proposed to meet the demands of map users in the era of we media. The definition and features of we-map are presented and the differences be-tween we-maps and traditional maps are shown, and the functions of a we-map platform are analyzed. we-maps, as a good complement of traditional maps, will be a type of maps belonging to so-called "grassroots", due to their characteristics of "micro-contents", "speedy transmission" and "smart propagation".关键词
