Statistical Capacity Planning Method for Battery Energy Storage System of Island Microgrid Considering Demand Response

Abstract
Considering the frequency response capability in demand side,a statistical capacity planning method for bat⁃tery energy storage system of island microgrid is proposed. First,a frequency control strategy with variable degrees of participation is applied to the load in demand side. Then,according to the intermittent characteristics of distributed en⁃ergy,an energy storage capacity determination method is introduced based on the combination of time-domain simula⁃tion with statistical analysis and area criterion. Finally,Monte Carlo simulation method is used to obtain the optimal ca⁃pacity distribution of battery energy storage system under frequency regulation. The proposed method can fully take into account the high-dimensional uncertainties in the operation of microgrid,and provide an effective planning tool for the planners to determine the optimal energy storage capacity.关键词
