摘要

Abstract

Quercetin is a common flavonoid in herbs, fruits and vegetables, and has anti⁃inflammatory, anti⁃bacterial, antioxidant, anti⁃tumor and anti⁃cancer and other pharmacological activities. In recent years, studies found that quercetin addition could improve rumen fermentation of dairy cows, and could affect glucose metab⁃olism and lipid metabolism. In this paper, the pharmacological mechanism of quercetin and its application in dairy cows production were reviewed to provide reference for the further development and application.
