摘要

Abstract

Based on the principle of pipeline-soil interaction, instead of the spring element commonly used in engineering, pipeline-soil contact element is used to simulate more realistic pipeline-soil interaction. The finite element structural analysis software ABAQUS is used as the platform to analyze the time process of seismic dynamic on submarine pipeline, so that the seismic response and the main failure modes of the pipeline under earthquake are obtained. The paper also includes analyses on the effects of factors, such as buried depth and diameter of the pipeline, on the seismic response of the pipeline. The results of the analysis can provide reference for the seismic design of submarine pipelines and for preparation of relevant specifications.
