摘要

Abstract

South Berth 2 of Petroleum and Chemical Product Terminal, Tianjin Port, was originally designed for accommodating ships up to 30000 DWT. In accordance with the requirements of the Ministry of Transport for accommodating ships under limiting conditions, ships above 30000 DWT can no longer be moored at the berth. To avoid the impact of the limiting conditions on the throughput of oil product in Tianjin Port, the berth structure has been upgraded from its designed mooring ship size of 30000 DWT to its allowable mooring ship size of 50000 DWT, by implementing a technical plan of upgrading the berth structure.
